From Humble Beginnings to Luxury Excellence

Elite Renovations was founded in 2010 by Samuel Owusu, a Ghanaian architect with international training and a passion for bringing world-class renovation standards to Accra's luxury property market. After completing his studies at the Architectural Association in London and gaining experience with high-end renovation firms in Dubai and Singapore, Samuel returned to his homeland with a vision to transform Ghana's approach to elite property renovation.

Our journey began with a small team of five professionals working from a modest office in East Legon. Our first project—the restoration of a colonial-era residence for a diplomatic family—set the standard for our future work: meticulous attention to detail, respect for architectural heritage, and seamless integration of modern luxury amenities.

By 2015, our reputation for excellence had grown substantially, allowing us to expand our team to over 35 skilled professionals and move to our current purpose-built design studio and showroom in Airport Residential Area. This period marked our expansion into large-scale projects for international clients, embassy renovations, and heritage property restorations.

The 2020s have seen Elite Renovations cement its position as Ghana's premier luxury renovation firm, with a portfolio spanning residential, diplomatic, and select commercial properties. Today, our team of 75 specialists includes architects, interior designers, project managers, master craftspeople, and technology integration experts, all dedicated to creating exceptional living environments for Ghana's most discerning homeowners.

Samuel Owusu

Founder & Principal Architect

With over 20 years of experience in luxury design across three continents, Samuel brings a unique global perspective to each project. His signature approach blends international design excellence with deep respect for Ghanaian architectural traditions.

Samuel holds a Master's degree from the Architectural Association in London and regularly lectures on sustainable luxury design at the University of Ghana.

Abena Mensah

Design Director

Leading our creative team since 2014, Abena oversees all interior design aspects of our projects. Her background in textile design and art history informs her unique ability to blend contemporary luxury with authentic Ghanaian aesthetic elements.

Abena's work has been featured in Architectural Digest and she was named one of Africa's Top 40 Designers Under 40 in 2021.

Daniel Kofie

Construction Director

With three decades of experience in high-end construction throughout West Africa, Daniel ensures the flawless execution of our most complex projects. His expertise in climate-responsive building techniques and heritage preservation is unparalleled in Ghana.

Daniel leads our craftsman training initiative, passing traditional Ghanaian building techniques to the next generation.

Nana Akua Boateng

Client Relations Director

Joining Elite Renovations in 2016 after a successful career in luxury hospitality management, Nana Akua ensures our clients receive unparalleled service throughout their renovation journey. Her expertise in diplomatic protocol makes her particularly valued by our embassy clients.

Nana Akua holds an MBA from INSEAD and speaks five languages, including Twi, English, French, German and Portuguese.
